The Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) invites comments about Philander Smith College’s Business Program.
Little Rock, AR – Philander Smith College will undergo a re-accreditation evaluation of its Business and Economics Division October 11-14, 2009. A team representing the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) will visit the Philander Smith College campus.
Currently, the Business Program within the Division of Business and Economics is fully accredited by ACBSP. The Business Program was first recognized for accreditation by ACBSP in 1997. For the past two years, the Business and Economics Division has been engaged in a process of self study, addressing the ACBSP’s requirements and criteria for re-accreditation. The evaluation team will visit Philander Smith College to gather evidence that the self-study is accurate and that the Business Program is ready for re-accreditation. Following the review, the team will make a decision if they would recommend to the ACBSP Commission continued accreditation status for the Business Program. The Commission itself will take the final action.
