Counseling Services Center
The Counseling Services Center serves all members of the PSC community including students, faculty, and staff. Services offered are designed to help individuals develop coping strategies, resolve conflicts, and handle crisis situations, to include individual counseling, group counseling, consultations, and mental health screenings.
Presentations, workshops, and seminars may be requested for classes, residence halls, groups, and organizations. Certain programs are planned in advance by counseling staff and are advertised each semester. Some of the topics available include:

What are the Counseling Center hours?
The Counseling is open from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (some early morning and evening hours are available).
How do I make an appointment?
Come to the Health and Wellness Center located on the 1st Floor of the M.L. Harris Fine Arts Building, call (501) 370-5229, or email the counselor at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What are the costs associated with receiving services?
There is no charge for counseling services, however; you MUST be a registered student.
Are the staff members certified?
The Counseling Center staff consists of a Licensed Professional Counselor. A Psychologist is also on staff on a part-time basis.
What about confidentiality?
The PSC Counseling Center follows the ethical guidelines of the American Psychological Association and the American Counseling Association. Except in certain emergencies, information is not released to anyone outside the Counseling Center staff without expressed written permission from the individual.
