Religious Life & Campus Culture

As a United Methodist Church-affiliated institution, the heritage of Philander Smith College is deeply rooted in faith. The Office of Religious Life and Campus Culture exists to help weave the knowledge and understanding of Christian faith into the fabric of our campus culture. The Office of Religious Life and Campus Culture seeks to create events and programs that provide opportunities for intellectual and spiritual growth for the Philander Smith College community, as well as for the surrounding community, while also creating a morally-responsible campus culture.
