- Coronavirus Updates
In light of the evolving nature of the COVID-19 crisis, on Thursday, March 19th, Philander Smith College announced its decision to close the residential halls for the remainder of the 2020 Spring Semester effective Monday, March 23.
As such, students who departed for Spring Break (March 16-20) should plan to remain off-campus.
Students who are currently on campus must make immediate arrangements to exit the community by Sunday, March 22, 2020. All personal belongings must also be removed at this time unless other arrangements have been made and/or approved by the College.
Should these times not work, students are encouraged to contact the Office of Housing and Residential Life to request alternative arrangements. Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
The Office of Housing and Residential Life asks for your patience during these trying times. Please know, also, that we are praying for the well-being of each member of our Philander Family until such time that we are able to wholly restore the day-to-day operations of our Campus Community.
