The following is a list of private loan lenders who have worked with our students over the last five years.  In the event your Title IV aid does not cover your educational expenses here at Philander Smith College, we encourage you to do your research on these lenders and see what options are available to you. Remember that these are just four examples of many private lenders that you may choose from. You have the right to borrow a private loan from any lender you
choose.  In all cases, please make sure that private loans are the loans of last resort for you and your
family. You should exercise your loan eligibility through the Stafford Loan programs first before
considering borrowing through a private loan lender.
