Student loans, unlike grants and work-study, are borrowed money that
must be repaid, with interest. Loans are legal obligations, so before you
take out a student loan, think about the amount you’ll have to repay
over the years. Borrow very little. Remember that you have to pay it back. Figure out exactly how much you need to borrow. Don't take extra money - even if they say you can.
