Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Last updated 2/14/2012
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the form used
by virtually all two and four-year colleges, universities and career
schools for the awarding of federal student aid and most state and
college aid.
Tell your friends! The official FAFSA is at www.FAFSA.gov
– not at a .com Web site. If you go to a .com site, you will probably
be asked to pay to submit the FAFSA. Remember, the first F in "FAFSA"
stands for "free" – so use the official government site to submit your
application.
***INFORMATION YOU CAN USE TODAY***
Officials in the Office of Federal Student Aid and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) have worked together to develop a process to simplify the steps that families must take each year to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid ("FAFSA"). This new process is called the IRS
Data Retrieval Tool. We strongly recommend that parents and students select
this option when completing/submitting their 2012-2013 FAFSA. (pdf)
All students and parents should apply for a Personal
Identification Number (PIN). This will allow you to sign electronically
and expedite the processing of your file.
Complete the FAFSA here! Be sure to list our school code of 001103
as one of the choices. By doing so, we will receive your
FAFSA results electronically shortly after you receive the results
first.
