College Goal Sunday
College Goal Sunday is a free program for offered to students and their families to provide them assistance with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is the college financial aid application
At 2 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2009, volunteers from Arkansas college financial aid offices will be available at 37 locations across the state to help with completing the FAFSA to ensure that the process of applying for financial aid does not become an obstacle that would keep anyone from going to college. By attending College Goal Sunday, students and their families will walk away knowing they have tackled one of the most important steps in getting ready for college.
College Goal Sunday at Philander Smith College will take place inside the Donald W. Reynolds Library & Technology Center.
Arkansas College Goal Sunday is co-sponsored by the Arkansas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. More information is available online at www.arcollegegoalsunday.org .
