Philander Smith College Archives is located on the second floor of the Donald W. Reynolds Library and Technology Center. Its mission is to gather, preserve, and make available for reference and research use, documentation, and information pertaining to the work, history, and development of the College, or about programs, policies, activities, events, persons, or groups associated with the college. The Archives contains a broad range of materials on the more than 135-year history of the College.

We value our institution's history, and must save all original letters, minutes, reports, photographs, publications and other documents that provide unique testimony to the achievements of our college. These records are preserved for historical and administrative research and are accessible by appointment. Call to schedule a time to visit our archives located on the second floor of the D.W.
